I have worked several days installing ailerons, fitting wingtips and doing all the prep work to reinstall wings permanently, More work is needed. Aileron outboard brackets appear to need slight (1/8" or so) movement to align with wing and tips. Also found one inboard bracket rubbing against a rivet on the wing mounting bracket. Will have to drill rivet out and replace.
When installing the left wingtip, I found that the tip construction is no quite right. I will have to cut a wedge piece out of the aft bottom section of the tip and re-glass it to get a good fit and alignment with the aileron.
So, a few more hours of work before permanent wing installation. Tips can be worked on after the wings are installed at this point.
