Brief Description:  Tank Leaks

On advice from Van's, I cleaned and scuffed inside the right inboard rib and applied more proseal. I also did the same outside around the T905 angle support. I tested the right tank and the balloon held air for 72 hours and still looked good.

The left tank continues to plague me, however. I only get 3 or 4 hours before the balloon goes down. Further searching I found 1 rivet leaking that connects the skin to the rear baffle. I taped it well and checked more. I found a leak coming through the threads on the fuel pickup fitting. I removed the nut and cleaned well, then prosealed the washer and retaining nut on the AN fitting and retorqued. Still there was a leak. I will have to remove the tank it looks like, anyway.
