After a nice vacation to PA to visit family, I am finally getting back to a little more RV work.
May 14, 16, 17 were spent working on the bottom wing skins. This meant match drilling, deburring and dimpling/countersinking over 1000 holes in the skins, inspection covers, spars and ribs. I also primed the inside of the skins. I now have them about ready for riveting; however, I will be moving them to a friend's hangar for storage. I will rivet them at a later date.
I need the wings out of my garage to make room for the Finishing kit items and also have more room for installation of the Finishing kit pieces.
Wings tips will also have to be fitted and installed at a later date. All wiring is installed in the wings for lighting, autopilot servo, heated pitot (not sure if I will get a heated pitot tho).
