Worked on mounting the VS. Measurements from HS tips to top of VS are exact. Also installed the aft tiedown after removing the 912 bulkhead. Mounted the VS after replacing the 912 bulkhead and drilled the VS spar and the 981 VS forward mount.
Mounted the Rudder and checked for freedom of movement. Right rudder is no problem with the 35 degree movement. Left rudder contacts the VS aft skin edge at about the 35 degree movement. I will consider this on final assembly at a later date.
Removed the VS and Rudder and stored for now. I will remove the HS soon for more room in the garage.
