With the arrival of the replacement rib, I was able to catch up the work on the Right Elevator. I did a quick session of drilling to the skin, deburring, dimpling cleaning etching alodining and then finally I got out my old Aztek Airbrush (Now owned by Testors) and doing a quick airbrush on the part with primer. The part was quicky ready to be back riveted into place. I took a great deal of care to make sure that I didnt hit it with the back rivet cross bar again. Having completed that set of minor tasks, I riveted it to the rear spar and was finally ready for the task of attachig the second skin. The result was again very good.
