Brief Description: Close Out Tabs and Elevator Horns
The close out tabs are interesting. If you do a 90degree bend with a small radius at the point indicatred on the plans, you will end up with a gap of about 1/8th inch. The lack of specificity around this and the inabilty to really do a trial run is a bit annoying. My suggestion is to build the bottom skin without bending the tab, then measure and bend the top tab, then remove the bottom and bend it. It is potentially quite a lot more work, but it will allow you to decide how big a radius you need to use to match up with the shear clip. I am going to end up with a slight bulge to meet with the shear clip.
