I used a small piece of hardwood that happened to have a perfect radius edge for the fairing. I set up in accordance with Figure 3 and then added a further block at the front and an additional clamp to set the angle correctly. I used the soft face hammer afterwards, but it didnt change the radius after having pre bent it with the clamp.

The underneath surface needed some priming, so I then used my alodine marker to treat the skin. It was about 35 degrees C so that dried pretty fast. I then used a spray pack to prime the same surface.
