I commenced work on the Vertical Stailiser last night. The initial task was cutting the extraneous material from the VS rear spar spar caps. I used the bandsaw for this task. The first one wasnt the greatest effort, but the second came out well. Both cleaned up ok on the linisher sanding disk and scotch wheel. I then used a scotchbrite buffer in the air grinder to remove the marks and scratches from the bend process.
Having completed these, I commenced the match drilling of them to the rear spar. Called it a night half way through the task. Will pick up again on Friday night.
