My early painting exploites have demonstrated to me the deficiencies associated with useing an old door as a paint surface. So this morning I constructed a frame from 40mm (1.5") poly pipe with 90 degree corners to hold it all together. I will cover it with light chicken wire before first use... Advantages will be: - Less sticking of the flange when painting large lots of parts; - The air will travel past the part, rather than picking it up; - Less paint blown off the surface back onto the part.
