Brief Description: HS Front Spar Doubler and Attachments
I completed the clean up of the Front Spar Doubler and the Attachment Brackets and clecoed them to the Front Spar. Then begun the task of drilling them to the spar. It is amazing the difference Boelube makes when drilling a thick piece. I think the main advantage is that the sides of the drill shaft are lubricated in the hole and thus the overall drag they generate is reduced. for the 9 holes in each of these pieces, I dipped for each hole.
Having completed this task, I match drilled the 3/16th holes and completed the countersinking of the 8 1/8th holes on the doubler and the 9 3/32 holes on each flange.
