Brief Description: Fabricated Front Spar Attachment Brackets
After reading how others have problems with the construction of the HS-1008-L & R attchment brackets, I decided to order a set from IflyRV10. That was six weeks ago. two weeks ago, I emailed Steven to say they had not turned up. He sent out another set and I am still waiting on them... So I decided to try rolling my own.
They turned out very nicely. The key to making them was offseting the table of my bandsaw from horizontal to allow me to do a single cut to get rid of the majoriy of the angle. I then offset the table on my linisher and used it to get the edges nice and clean before using the linisher to radius the corners and remove all marks. I was a bit nervous about getting the the drilling accurate, but I just took my time and it worked out well.
