So here it is spring and I awake to about a foot of snow. Whats with that.... Then we lost power for four hours.
Commenced work on the VS again this evening. Managed to get through page 6.2, finishing off the rear spar preparation work. The hardest job was cleaning up the weight reduction holes in the Doubler. There are a lot of marks from the shears which are difficult to remove, particularly the ones in the corners. I filed first then used a 1 inch scothcbrite wheel which was pretty close to the radius of each of the corners. The outside I did on the 6inch Scotchbrite wheel it came up very nicely.
