The Empennage finnally arrived from the USA today. I drove down to Sydney to collect it from the Freight forwarders. Predictably the very large box was damaged, and I am guessing that this has occurred in Australia on arrival, rather than the USA on departure. The box was damaged in one corner and as murphys law would predict, that was the corner that the spars were nestled into. The good news is that I am unable to see any signs of damage to the spars themselves. Whew...
