3 gallons of bondo and about 30 hours later, I am really happy with the shape. I knew the left side had a low spot that didn't match the right, I orignaly thought that was it. But once I started feeling it, running my hands over the surface I was able to really find all the imperfections. The key to getting this big af an area smooth in a short amount of time is to sand the bondo with 36 grit sand paper as soon as the bondo gels. You go through a lot of sand paper, but it is so much easier to sand the bondo when it is soft.
