The next step was to assemble the HS stabilizer with cleco’s so that I could blind rivet HS-702 to HS-707 and HS-708. I made the wedge that is described in the supplemental instructions that helps to maintain a straight pull on the pop rivet in a tight corner. The rivets came out great but it did take all my strength to squeeze the handles on the tool. I spent a few hours over the next few days completing the rest of the riveting on the HS. I took my time since I’m new to this riveting task. I think the HS looks great. Now it’s time to start on the VS (Vertical Stabilizer).
