Once I re-familiarized myself with the steps necessary to prime the parts, I started the process. I used a drill with a mixing wand to mix the cans of AKZO. First batch of primer was added to the cup. I mixed these together by shaking the cup by hand for about 1 minute. This worked well.
I used the 3M Accuspray gun system. It sprayed the primer great and was a breeze to clean up.
The entire horizontal stabilizer was primed. Now I finally get to do some riveting.
