Brief Description: 3-First Airplane Dimples and Countersinks
The last step before rib work is to dimple HS-702 and countersing HS-710 & 714. In order to make sure I didn't do this wrong, I reassembled the parts and made sure I marked the correct side and direction of the dimple/countersink. The directions state to dimple and countersink the four centerline holes with the flush heads aft. If you read section 5-5 it states if you are going to be mating a dimpled surface onto a countersunk one, then you need to countersink about 7 thousanths deeper than normal to get a good fit.
