After the flanges were flattened out, I used the T-rule to mark a straight line off of the edge of the inboard tab. I used the bandsaw once again to cut the remainder of the tab off. The belt sander worked well to finish up the edge. There is a sharp corner left after the tab is cut off. I used a die grinder with a scotch brite wheel to round the corner. I think they came out looking pretty good.
