Well the day has finally come. My first kit for the airplane has arrived, (the empennage). The empennage is actually the tail of the airplane and consist of the horizontal and vertical stabilizers as well as the rudder and elevator control surfaces. I went ahead and ordered the electric trim servo for the elevator trim because it will be easier to install while building the empennage.
My son in law (Matt) and I started the inventory and finished everything exept for the hardware bags. It was all there. I will finished the rest of it this weekend.
I also received my practice kits (tool box and airfoil) and will be getting started on those soon. These kits should help me do better work on the actual airplane parts.
