Well, after years of saying I wanted to build an airplane (RV-7), I have finally taken the first step by placing my order for the empennage kit or "Tail Kit".
I also ordered two practice kits from Vans Aircraft. One is an aluminum tool box and the other is a sample airfoil. These will help me practice the techniqes needed before working on the airplane.
To help learn some of these techiques, I ordered a couple of video's from GeoBeck Inc. The first one is titled "Sheet Metal Tools" and the other is "RV Prepunched Empennage" They have other video's whick coorespond with other sections of the aircraft that I will order when I get to those areas.
