Worked on finishing the riveting of the stabilator. I was not happy with the method Rans uses to retain the hinge pins for the trim tab (safety wire). I installed #6 nut plates inside the rear stab spar and used pieces of MS20257 hinge and a #6 stainless screw on each pin (see photo). Mounted the stab counter weight and drilled the bolt holes to #11. Just need to remove the jig plates and rivet on the end ribs.
Assembled the trim tab and aligned the hinges. Final drilled to #30, disassembled and primed the frame.
