Brief Description: Attached Fuselage Brackets and Assembled Rear Spar
Attached fuselage brackets on front spar. Going smoothly until I realized the lower middle rivet would need to be bucked. I ended up attempting to buck each rivet (both sides) three times. At the end of the day, I learned that (1) buck rivets prior to squeezing adjacent rivets and (2) -4 rivets universal rivets are a two-man job (my wife bucked the final rivets) to ensure the gun stays squarely on the universal head and the shop head is square. Also, be careful not to drill too deep when removing a rivet as you can enlarge the hole. That being said, once the rivet head is removed, using a smaller drill to remove some of the material can be advantageous in loosening up a -4 rivet (I use a punch to knock out the rivet once it is loose).
