Another cold, gray, miserable day here in the Southern Highlands. I spent some time this afternoon learning some of the navigation capabilities of the Garmin G3X Primary Flight Display. It is an amazing naviagation system for such a small light aircraft. The distance between Mittagong ( home airport ) and Deniliquin ( where Karen's mum lives ) and Mittagong and Shepparton, ( where my parents live ), is exactly the same distance, 285 nm, with an approximate flight time of 2 hours 16 minutes.
