Brief Description:  Engine Stands.

Last week we visited our son MPC in Canberra ( The Australian Capital ) which is about two hours South of Bowral.
I noticed that a large hardware store we passed had a January sale in progress.
I dropped in on the way home and purchased two engine stands that were on sale for half price.
My intention is to mount the fuselage on a forward mount and a rear mount, so I can roll the fuselage, which will allow me to fill the rivet heads on the bottom.
I'm still contemplating whether it's worth the effort.
I will talk to BDH in a couple of days time when he returns from work to get his thoughts.
I had to remove the nose wheel which will allow me to attach a board to the engine mount and then bolt to the engine stand.
A Sling builder here in Australia has done this with his aircraft and it worked very well.
So I may well follow his lead.
