Finished complying with Safety Alerts #0012, now Service Bulletin #0017 I decided to use 4mm S/S rivets on the "control stop plate". After contact with another Sling4 builder, I realized that the factory installs the "control stop plate" to the elevator torque tube at the factory prior to shipment to the owner builder. Therefore no need to mention the " control stop plate " in the build manual and the factory knows to use S/S rivets. My build kit arrived without the "control stop plate" installed on the elevator torque tube, hence my mistake using aluminium rivets.
