I wanted to ensure the fuel quantity sender was working before the wing is installed If I had a problem it is so much easier addressing the issue with the wing off the aircraft. I attached a wire from the fuel quantity sender to the left wing electrical plug. I changed the fuel volume units to U.S gallons, as I had the figures from Rod's build, which are in US gallons. I put two calibration points in the configuration fuel calibration page and the left fuel gauge indicated one gallon. So, the fuel level sender does work. I then removed the two calibration points and returned the fuel volume units back to litres.
