The landing light support brackets I was supplied with were for incandescent lights. I had to modify the brackets for the PAR36 LED Taxi and Landing lights. Both the front and rear brackets had to be enlarged slightly to accommodate the lights. I was not sure how I was going to be able to enlarge the hole by just a couple of millimetres I came up with the idea of clecoing the front brackets together and the rear brackets together. I purchased a " Flap Wheel " and put it in the drill press which allowed me to modify the four brackets at the same time. I wanted a sanding drum, but the hardware store was " out of stock". I moved the brackets around in a circular motion, supported by the clecos and the flap wheel did the rest. This method worked really well and the eight brackets are now all modified. I have painted the eight brackets with an aerosol full gloss white paint.
