Brief Description:  Pre-Oiling Engine.

BDH and I have discussed pre-oiling the engine before first start, which is approaching.
We purchased a number of items which will allow us to pump oil throuh the engine.
The items are, an oil pump, oil filter support and filter, an additional inline oil filter, pressure gauge, hoses and an adapter to connect to the engine oil filter port.
We removed the turbo oil sump to ensure we did not fill the turbo with oil.
Oil is fed from the blue container through the pump and filters, into the engine oil filter inlet and returned from the oil sump ( red funnel ) and turbo sump ( yellow funnel ) to the oil container.
The G3X oil pressure gauge indicated 65 PSI during the pre-oiling process.
After pre-oiling we checked oil was in the oil reservoir, oil cooler, into the valve covers, turbo feed line and oil sump.
A big thanks to BDH for his time, help, support and knowledge, it's very handy having an ex engineer living next door building a Sling2 with a Rotax 914 engine.
I could not do this build without his support and guidance.
