Brief Description: Dzus Fastener Spring Adjusting Tool.

After I received the top engine cowl back from being painted, the inspection doors were very tight to secure closed. The combination of paint on the cowl and inspection door has changed the Dzus grip length to the spring. Most of the fasteners on the aircraft are a little tight and need adjusting. I purchased a " Dzus spring adjusting tool " ( DSAT ) which arrived today. I adjusted the springs on the inspection doors and they are much easier to secure closed. The DSAT can compress or expand the springs to allow easier engaging and disengaging of the Dzus fasteners. There are twenty three Dzus fasteners on the aircraft, so the DSAT will be very useful for now and in the future.
