Spent some time today trying to figure out the Artex 345 ELT. AEC and KSC gave me a hand to take the aircraft out of the build shed which allowed the GPS to pickup a signal. I'm getting a fault code from the ELT and I'm sure it's a mismatch betwen the G3X and ELT baud rates. The ELT is programed to 9600 baud and the G3X is sending GPS data at 4800 baud. When I purchased the ELT the distributor claimed the ELT was programed to 4800 baud, but it's not, it is programed to 9600 baud, which is the default setting from factory. I will have to send it on a holiday to get reprogramed.
