Brief Description:  Busy Life.

It's been some time between posts, a lot has been happening away from building.
Family issues have taken quite some time, however things are settling down now.
As of 30th Nov. I finished 36+ years working for Qantas Airways, Qantas call it "Early Retirement",
I call it " Redundancy " due covid19, B747 retired much earlier than originally planned.
However, all is good, I was due to retire in the next 18 months or so, very lucky to have 36 years flying big jets all around the world, time now to stay at home.
My next command trip will be in a Sling4 reg. VH-PGQ , going from 412.700 kgs MTOW to 920 kgs MTOW.
BDH and I did a two day 'Maintenance Procedures Course' ( MPC ) last weekend in Taree, which is a five hour drive away.
The course is a requirement here in Australia for owner/builders of experimental aircraft.
We have sat the " MPC " and " Weight and Balance "exams and passed, so we are now authorized to maintain our own aircraft and do our own W&B calculations.
My VP-X arrived back after a holiday in the USA and everything appears to be woking beautifully, the flaps finally work!
