A momentous day, after a number of years of blood, sweat and swearing, engine is finally installed in position on the aircraft. Thanks to Des for his help and advise we managed to bolt the engine on to the firewall engine mount. The engine hoist was an enormous help, I don't think we could have done the job without it. I've use standard nuts on the engine mount bolts at the moment, just in case I have to remove or adjust the engine.
