Installed the undercarriage today. I was not looking forward to this job because other builders have had troubles. My undercarriage went on without too many issues.
I did three things which helped with the installation.
1. I grounded the bolts slightly to more of a point. 2. I lubricated the bolts. 3. I made a small 10 mm pin which I tapped into the hole on the opposite side of the bolt which kept everything in alignment. When I tapped the bolt through it pushed the pin out. Two of the four bolts I had to screw through the last little bit as it exited the other side, the other two tapped through. There is no info. from what I can see in the manuals re: torque setting for the bolts. A quick e-mail to the factory and Vince replied torque the bolts to 24 nm.
