After talking to a fellow Sling4 owner he suggested I get the step repainted. I looked at attaching the step using AN3 bolts, but it is far too difficult. I decided I will get the step painted red ( same as the fuselage ) from the top down to just below the supporting bracket bolt.( same as N77RL ). The actual step, where your foot goes, will remain silver. The step is attached using Stainless Steel 4mm X 12mm rivets. I will not install the steps until the wings have have been attached and the wing fairing are ready to be installed. I just noticed the two outboard holes on the support bracket are 4.8mm not 4mm.
