I received a message on the PFD indicating there was a hardware fault on the GSA28 autopilot pitch servo. The servo is one of the original two servos I received some time ago. One of the servos was replaced late last year ( due to a hardware fault ), without question by Garmin. The servo that has now failed was the other original servo. I contacted the Garmin supplier and after I sent an e-mail, which was forwarded to Garmin, within 3-4 hours I was contacted by telephone and advised the servo will be replaced. The two servos had serial numbers reasonably close together and the two original servos have now both been replaced. I imagine Garmin may have had an issue with some servos some time ago and are happy to replace them.
