I received the aircraft registration markings today. I have had VH-PGQ reserved with CASA ( Civil Aviation Safety Authority ) for a number of years. All Australian registered aircraft are prefixed " VH ". I had ordered the markings a number of weeks ago from a company in Queensland. ( So many fonts, colors and styles to choose from ) The tricky thing with aircraft markings is that the letters on both sides slope rearwards, therefore the left side markings and a right side markings are different. After much discussion on where the marking should go, I installed the lefthand side marking. I was not sure about the letters been red and shadowed, however it doesn't look too bad. The letters are the smallest I was legally allowed to display, (150 mm) as per the CASA regulations.
