Brief Description:  Installed Spinner

After installing blind nuts inside the back plate, and doing a trial fit of the spinner I have a warning for anyone using a fixed pitch propellor of 54 pitch for higher.

*** YOU MUST GRIND OUT SOME OF THE OPENING ***

THis is necessary because although the fit looks ok at 1/16", it is not.

When flying, the propeller will come in contact with the spinner opening and the spinner will start to cut the prop!

This is easily taken care of with a dremel and a grinding bit. Take your time and go slow.

I fit the spinner and then marked it where to take out some metal. You want about a 3/16" gap to allow for some breathing room.

After cutting, you should still have a little bit of flange left, see picture #1
