File the weld slag out of the inside of the stick with a long curved metal file. If you do not do this, you will not only have a VERY hard time pulling the wires through, but the slag will tear up the insulation on your wires!
Drilled an exit hole at the bottom of the stick facing the seat. Some people like ot exit the side too.
Pulled all wires through the stick.
Seated and aligned the cap with the push to talk facing front and drilled a holeand attached a pop rivet to secure everything in place.
