Brief Description: Setting Main Gear Alignment (Part 2)
8. Clamp a piece of angle to the brake rotor, facing front to rear.
9. Use this as a platform for a laser level pointer to align the wheel with the mark made in step 7; (Part 1). Now measure inwards 2.25” and mark the floor.
11. Adjust the wheel so that the laser line aligns with this mark.
12. Check the airframe alignment. It is easier of you reattach the plum bob at the rear point and leave it there until you are completely finished. This is a good visual as you are moving the wheels around for alignment.
13. Triple check the wheel alignment and then drill a ¼” hole all the way through the main gear leg socket; (inside the fuse) about half way up.
14. Secure with an AN4 bolt of correct length, washer and lock nut.
