Brief Description:  Alexander's - Training and Inventory

Arrived at Alexander's Technical School in Griffin, GA at 7:00 am on Monday morning. Met our teachers, Mike and Jacob, and the other building couple from Littleton, CO (near Denver), Bob & Mary Markert, who are building an RV-8. He is a pilot for United Airlines and flies 747's (international flights). Went through a brief presentation on construction basics, tools and safety at Alexander's office/ hangar in Griffin. Due to space issues, the training class was moved to Ron Alexander's home hangar at a private airstrip (Brook Bridge Aerodrome) about 10 miles west of Griffin.

When we arrived at Ron's home hangar, we started by inventorying the tail section kit. All was there and only had a small "ding" in two skin ends - Jacob fixed the "dings" without any problems.

Sometimes it was hard to work looking around at the four vintage aircraft in the hangar!
