The cap strips on the upper part of the ribs and sub-ribs need to be prebend to keep stress out of the ribs. This is done by soaking the capstrip in water for approx 4 hours and then putting them into the bending jig. The exact bend is not critical, just so that it is somewhat close. It makes building in the jigs much easier.
