Brief Description: more work on BRS and center cover
Tightened down the BRS bracket. Riveted and caulked the front center cover. Installed the BRS unit into bracket. Cut hole in rear of front center cover for the bottom of the rocket. Mounted BRS pull handle in cockpit. Loaded rocket motor into rocket launch assembly and armed. Attached pull cable to rocket actuator to complete the rocket installation. Put gas into each wing tank and checked for leaks...none! Did a dry fir of the rear center cover and CRAP it does not line up like it did on the ground. I have to spend some time to figure out how to install the rear center cover. Vacuum out the interior beacue of the drilling done to installe the from center cover. I still need to figure out how the main BRS bridal will run. Also since the BRS, if activated, will rip out the both center covers. If this is done the ELT antenna will be separted from the plane with the either of the covers.
