I had a couple of hours after my Men's class this evening so I took time to take the primed firewall parts off spray rack and cleaced parts to firewall.
I had made a mental error that I am sure many builders have done when I was countersinking the F801HR-1, HL-1 and D-1 angles. I realized that I had countersunk the angles where the F801L backing plates attach through the firewall from the forward side. urggghh! After thinking through the solution, I took a CS4-4 Blind rivet and cut the end off, pulled the pin out and drilled to inside hole to #30. Yeah! Worked great.
Clecoed all parts to firewall and logged progress.
