Brief Description:  Riveting rudder skin to substructure

Early this morning I primed the replacement rudder horn bracket and after it dried I riveted it to the substructure. I then mixed up the tank sealer and placed a "chewing gum" sized portion of sealer at the trailing edge of the rudder stiffeners. Riveted the skin to the substructure and then set up to bend the leading edge. This proved to be very tedious but I was able to get a good bend without any creases. I then installed the hinge bearing bolts and finished rolling the leading edge
Clecoed and the match drilled the leading edge. Disassembled and cleaned the holes. Reclecoed and then fastened the leading edge with pop rivets. Replaced the lead counterweight and then fitted the fiberglass tip. Called it an evening.
