When I arrived today, I was suprised to find the resin solution on cowling halves tacky. In stead of sanding I decided to go ahead and drill and rivet oil door hinge to oil door. Drilled, clecoed and then riveted oil door to hidden hinge. Had to trim quite a bit of the oil door to get the door to open far enough on the hinge end of the door. I will fill in that area with fiberglass later. Worked on fitting the push button camlock. Cut a piece of hinge and bent it to slip over the cowling edge and should work nice as a slide for the camlock latch.
