Brief Description:  Left Elevator

Today I had a few hours so I set out to get started on the left elevator. I used the scotch brite wheel to shape the sfiffeners to the skin and then disassembled them and deburred the stiffeners and skin. After sanding and pre the skin and stiffeners I primed them and started work on the substructure.
I clecoed and match drilled the E703 and E704 ribs. Clecoed and match drilled the ribs to the E702 spar. I then attached the E714 counterbalance to the 703 and 704 ribs. Then clecoed the E713 skin to the ribs and drilled the E714 counterbalance to the E703 and E704 attach holes by using the E713 skin prepunched holes. Called it an evening so I could help my daughter move.
