Brief Description: Preparing the horizantial stabilizer fiberglass
Today I mounted the horizantial stabilizer on the stand in the paint booth. With the help of my wife I was able to get the elevators installed onto the horizantial stabilizer and made the measurements for the fiberglass tips. I trimed the tips with the dremel tool and then fashioned some foam to fit into the tips and then dished out the foam to contour witht eh counterbalance arm. After going to Lowes to get fiberglass cloth, I mixed up a solution of resin and put two layers of glass over the foa inserts. In the next session I will removed the foam and add some layers of glass on the inside of the tips.
