I started work on the trim tab this evening. I used the break to bend the trim tab trailing edge. I already had the blocks cut so I marked the bend lines and clamped the trim tab to the table with a tapered block on the inside and a matching block on the outside. I tried to take some pictures but my batteries were dead in the camera. I bent the endboard and the outboard tabes per the plans and was very pleased with the bends. I then clamped the 717 and 718 trim tab control arm together and clecoed them to the trim tab surface. I used the holes in the 717 as a guide and drilled them to the trim rib and skin. I then measured, marked, and clamped the piano hinge in place on the top side of the trim tab. Since I was runnin short on time I will wait until the next session to drill the holes in the hinge surface.
