Brief Description:  Left Elevator

Today I picked up one inch particle board and cut down some blocks to use in bending the tabs. I used the 705 rib as guide to get the correct taper per inch for the skin. After cutting several different boards for the jigs I place a block inside the skin and matched it with a block on the top of the skin and clamped the entire assembly to the edge of a smooth table. I used a sall block to start the bend and then used the rivet gun and a small block to make the bend smooth. I used the flat rivet set to get the job done. I dont know why but I removed the block and lightly tapped the edges with the rivet set in retrospect I would not have done that because it did create a couple of small dimples that I'm not pleased with. But they will never be seen. I will make sure to only use the small block with the rivert set to avoid this on the trim tab bends.
