Prepared to rivet substructure for horizantial stab. It was a learning curve but very fun. I had to learn how to drill out bad rivets and used a homemade bucking bar/rivet remover that my friend Arthur Hester gave me. Basically after drilled out the bad head portion of the rivet, I would hold this against the material on the shop head side and use a spring loaded center punch to remove the rivet. This back pressure kept the parts from becoming distorted during removal.
